Colored water, CD-shaped molds, suspension system or display supports
Instruction
Freeze colored water into disc forms resembling digital media.
Suspend or display the discs so that their translucency and gradual melting remain visible.
The work exists while the frozen forms retain their shape and continue their process of dissolution.
It ends when the discs lose their structure and disappear into water.
Note
A recording medium is replaced by a form that cannot preserve itself.
The work exists as a temporary image of storage already entering disappearance.
