Water-filled balloons, LED lights, darkened space
Instruction
Suspend water-filled balloons in a sequence within a darkened space.
Place a small LED light inside each balloon so that the light passes through the water and produces a corresponding image on the surface below.
The work exists while the suspended forms and their projected counterparts are maintained.
It ends when the suspension, illumination, or material integrity is lost.
Note
Each suspended body contains its own point of light and produces a secondary image below.
The work exists as a temporary relation between a fragile volume and its projected trace.
